Our Story

Picnic Cafe is a small shop in Salt Lake City, Utah, located in the Liberty Wells neighborhood. We make fresh baked goods daily like bagels, brioche rolls, cookies, scones, hand pies, and more. Come try our award-winning wild blueberry muffin! Everything is made in-house, including our specials. We love making seasonal drinks and treats, allowing staff to have fun with it and flex their creative muscles. We also provide pastries to other local spots like Publik Coffee Roasters and Culture Coffee.

We do a lot of collaborations and food pop-ups like Proyecto Xilonen, Sisters, Priscilla's Pizza, Hector's, and Thank You For the Short Notice. We also host workshops by local makers like botanical skincare with Navire Apothocary, terrariums by Haven Terrariums, and classes like book-binding, ceramics, painting, and cooking.

Picnic has been growing and transforming since we opened at the beginning of 2022. It's been so rewarding to bring my culture into the space, and I want to continue to introduce people to other cultures and traditions. I want to lift other small businesses who are just starting or don't have their own space to host. For me, community is so important, especially now more than ever. Food is an act of love, so have you eaten yet?
